The election of Tariyani of Sheohar, Surajgarh of Lakhisarai, Sheikhpur of Sheikhpur, Parvakta of Khagaria, Khagaria of Gogri, and Alauli is scheduled in two phases on the basis of the Zilla Parishad regional constituency. So elections will be held in a total of 540 blocks. 187105 EVMs and 208514 ballot boxes will be used in the election.
Polling will be held in 113891 polling booths in Bihar. Elections have not been held in the first phase in all the flood-affected districts of the state.
