Under the Bihar Krishi Yantra Anudan Yojana, farmers will now be given subsidy on 90 different types of implements by the government. Earlier, farmers were given subsidy only on 75 types of implements under this scheme. At the same time, the percentage of grant will also be increased under this scheme.

For all types of implements, farmers will be able to purchase the implements from the concerned vendor under the Bihar Krishi Yantra Yojana by deducting the grant amount from the implemented price and paying the remaining amount.

And the grant amount will be distributed in the account of the concerned agricultural machinery manufacturer. Under this scheme, the online applications can get grant for agricultural machinery. The last date to apply online under Bihar Krishi Yantra Subsidy is 31 December 2023.

All the farmers of the state will get the benefit of Bihar Krishi Yantra Subsidy. Those farmers will be given benefits under this scheme. Features of Bihar Krishi Yantra Anudan Yojana

In the financial year 2023, agricultural machinery will be made available to farmers by the Agriculture Department, Bihar for a grant of Rs 9405.54 on agricultural machinery.
Under the Bihar Krishi Yantra Anudan Yojana, 33% of the amount will be spent by the government for subsidy to the farmers on crop residue management-related equipment such as Happy Seeder, Super Seeder, Straw Baler, Reaper cum Seeder etc.
Under this scheme, 7% of the amount will be spent by the government for grant on various machinery related to sowing like seed drill, potato planter, sugar cane cutter cum planter etc. in Qatar.
12% of the amount will be spent for grant on various machines related to post harvest and horticulture like mini rubber rice mill, rice mill, chain saw etc.
A two-day residential training program will be conducted at the district level in the state.
All Custom Hiring Centers established in Bihar, training program will be conducted for operators of Krishi Yantra Bank to operate Custom Hiring Centers in a high manner.
Under this scheme, at least 18% of the amount earmarked for the districts will be spent for giving the benefit of grant to the extremely backward class farmers on the basis of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.
The benefit of subsidy will be given to the farmers by increasing the grant by 10% and 10% on the listed agricultural machinery manufactured by the subject manufacturers of Bihar state in the maximum limit of subsidy.
But under no circumstances will the cost of the equipment exceed 80% of the subsidy rate.

Benefits available under Bihar Krishi Yantra Subsidy

Under the Bihar Krishi Yantra Anudan Yojana, the government will provide subsidy on 90 types of agricultural implements to the farmers.
Under this scheme, field plowing, sowing, weeding, irrigation, harvesting, rosemary etc. and agricultural machinery related to sugarcane and garden will be made available to the farmers.
At least 18% of the amount constituted by the government will be spent on giving the benefits of grants equivalent to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes for the districts under this scheme to the extremely backward class farmers.
Through this scheme, farmers will be given 10% increase in subsidy rate on the listed agricultural machinery manufactured by the agricultural machinery manufacturers and the maximum limit of subsidy rate will be given by the government.
But in any case, the subsidy rate for this should not be more than 80% of the cost of the machine.
